Position: System Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing system level software that interfaces with Polycom hardware and provides a software platform for developing video conferencing applications. You will work in a dynamic environment, interface with local and oversea hardware team and software team to contribute to Polycom’s video conferencing products development. Your tasks include, but not limited to building Linux kernel drivers, DSP drivers, IPC mechanism, and resource management.

Requirements:

QA Engineer

Location: Beijing, China
Position Type: Full Time, Employee

Responsibilities:
At this position, you will be a part of QA team to take ownership of Polycom CMA/RSS testing responsibilities; you will work side by side with design team to review product specification and develop product testing plan. You will gain access to Polycom technologies and contribute to video conference networking products. Tasks include:
1. Design document review and test plan development
2. Test cases writing and executing, root-cause analysis.
3. Bugs tracking and reporting.
4. Automation testing tool development.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/telecommunication or equivalent
2. 3+ years QA experience in networking industry
3. Familiar with software testing process, good at test case writing and result reporting.
4. Familiar with bug tracking systems and understand bug life cycle
5. Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills
6. Good communication skills
7. Good written and oral English skills

Technical Skills:
1. SW testing experience of data networking products, VOIP, NGN and/or IMS.
2. Video conference development/testing experience is a big plus.
