Position: Senior Software Engineer – Cache System Driver(FS01)

Roles/Responsibilities:We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will work with our highly motivated linux kernel and file team to develop distributed file system for our ExaMax product. A software engineer at Exavio is involved in all phases of the development process: design, development, modification, product review, installation, testing, product support, debugging, and documentation. We are looking for an outstanding engineer who can work effectively in a team environment.· Design and implement high-performance, distributed cache system for high-end storage system. · Clustered design for high-availability· Error handling and recovery for cache module· Interact with other teams for system level design
Qualifications:Technical Skills –· Bachelor’s degree or higher with majors in applied mathematics, computer science, computer/electrical engineering, or equivalent.· 4+ years of successful software development experience with Linux OS. · Expertise in C/C++ programming, and hands-on experience with CVS, make vi/emacs, tag, shell commands and other GNU development tools.· 3+ years of experience in device driver programming in Linux; expert knowledge of Linux kernel.· In-depth knowledge of a variety of caching algorithm, sorting algorithm, etc.· Knowledge of distributed computing in embedded environment is a big plusNon-Technical Skills –· Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills.· Rigorous and persistent work style (pursue open issues to closure), great sense of quality and responsibility.· Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.· Effective and written communication skills, both in English and Chinese.· Strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task and work under high-pressured, date-driven schedules.· Strong engineering process discipline balanced with good judgment and creativity.
