IBM最新出差安全守则和致全体员工的信


Dear all,

As some of you may have known that one of our SSR colleague from IBM Urumqi Branch, Qu Qing Hua, passed away on Oct 9, following five days in coma after he was seriously ssaulted and robbed in Urumchi on Oct 4, 2005,leaving behind a wife, an unborn baby and parents. His funeral was held today, and I want to express my sincere condolence for his family and our prayers are with them during this difficult period.

This is an emotional moment for all of us, Qu\'s passing away is a loss for our company, and we will miss him forever. The management team, HR and the Security epartment have been involved and working closely since the very early stage for rescuing Qu, comforting his family, settling the condolence compensation, arranging his funeral and roviding other assistance. While I understand many of us could be emotionally disturbed by this incident, we have to be trong and move on. If necessary, please do not hesitate to contact your managers and HR if any assistance is needed.

Most importantly, this tragic incident highlighted the importance of maintaining a high level of security awareness. The Security Department has just sent out a note to all employees for some precaution guidelines.
I urge all of you to read it carefully and comply with it strictly, because your personal safety matters most to your family and the company.

亲爱的IBM员工们：

相信很多同事都已经知道，IBM新疆分公司SSR的同事屈庆华在10月4日遭到歹徒致命的袭击和抢劫受伤后于10月9日永远地离开了我们，离开了有孕在身的爱妻和父母。他的葬礼已于今日举行。在此，我诚挚向庆华的家人表达最深切的哀悼，愿我们的祈祷陪你们渡过这最痛苦的时刻。

对我们全体员工来说这都是一个让人痛心的时刻，庆华的去世是我们全公司的损失，我们永远失去了一位勤恳、上进的好同事。公司领导团队，人事部和保安部从事件的初始阶段就组织救护庆华，安抚家属，支付抚恤金，安排葬礼及提供其它帮助。
我知道有很多同事都因这起事件而痛心，然而我们必须坚强面对这样的事实。如需要任何帮助，请与你的经理或人事部联系。

最重要的是，这起事件向我们提示了保持高度警觉的重要性。保安部刚刚给全体员工发出了防范安全提示。我迫切要求大家仔细阅读提示的内容并严格遵守。对于公司和你的家庭来说，你的人身安全是重中之重。
