• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience of software development management or team lead.
• Experience with managing development projects which utilize C/C++, Java/J2EE, CLI, GUI design, XML, Unix, Linux and Apache/Tomcat is highly desirable.
• Clear understanding, and hands-on knowledge, of network protocols including IP, TCP, and UDP. Experience with streaming protocols; RTSP, RTP/RDP and LSCP is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Video technology, Cable Video and IPTV architecture. Great understanding and experience with encoding scheme such as MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264 and AVS.
• Significant experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
