Proposal for Magic Coo – eBusiness Solution

Target to be achieved
Design an eBusiness web site of Magic Coo for English version. Develop an integrated system which cover Content Management System (CMS), Online Membership Registration, Online Shopping and Stock Management.

Content Management
Provide a backend maintenance program to update the contents for different web page categories which details are shown in the following section “Proposed Web Site Contents and Navigations”.

Stock Management
 Provide a backend maintenance program to mange stock of products.
 The product catalog includes product category and product subcategory. User should navigate the catalog in a sequential order (i.e. Product category  Product subcategory  Product details).
 Maintenance of the product category and subcategory should include the functions such as add, update or delete.

Product details included:
- Product code
- Photo
- Brand
- Product Name
- Retail Price
- Online Price
- Stock Amount
- Product description
- Product order

Online Shopping Cart
 Real time addition to shopping cart
 Real time calculation of selected item and cost
 Allow to cancel items before checking out
 Flexibility for future construction of online payment gateway.
 Provide a backend program to manage the shopping carts.

Membership
 Online registration page should be included for member registration (initial membership data should be provided by Magic Coo).
 Members are able to change personal information and password.
 Member ID and welcome e-mail for new sign up members will be generated automatically.
 A function is available for checking latest membership and the membership data could be exportable to excel format.
 An interface is available to compose email message to broadcast to members.
 Allow selection of member as receiver according to specified criteria from member database (e.g. Age, Sex, occupation …..).
