Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for Android will mean that you'll be able to play a whole new range of flash games on your Android phone

Adobe itself has posted a video of the recently announced Google Nexus One playing flash games.

Limited flash capabilities have been one of the Apple iPhone’s core faults, and it looks as though the Nexus One won’t be held up by such problems. You can check out Alien Attack running on the device below. Exciting stuff.

Of course, not only does this mean that you’ll be able to play many online browser games on the Nexus One, you’ll also be able to view a lot more rich web content properly. This new capability comes thanks to Flash Player 10.1, due for release on the Android Market soon. However, at present we’re not sure which version of the Android OS you’ll need to run it.
