Job Title: Senior Java developer

Job Description

This job is required to develop Composite Software’s cutting edge enterprise software products. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor or master’s degree in Computer science or engineering, with at least five years working experience in Java development. The job requires deep and hands-on skills and experiences in Java development in RDBMS, SQL, SOA, Web services, and XML.
Responsibilities include:
• Design and develop new features for Composite Software’s products.
• Provide product support to both external and internal customers.
• Analyze and fix product defects.
• Research technologies and apply to the company’s product development.

Required Skills

Database
In-depth knowledge and experience with data base concepts, architectures, implementation, and deployment is required. A qualified candidate must have more than three years working experience on Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MS SQLServer, or some commercial databases. Experiences with SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebal, or other enterprise software are big pluses for this position. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, as well as some dialects such as PL/SQL and T-SQL, is a must.

Java
Solid core Java programming skills required. A qualified candidate should have at least five year’s hands-on experience in core Java programming. In particular, experience in JDBC driver development is a big plus.


OS
Qualified candidates should have solid knowledge and working experiences on Windows and various Unix/Linux systems.

Others
Candidates should have at least two years working experiences with SOA, SOAP, XML, Web services, and XQuery.

English
• Qualified candidates should be fluent in English communications, in both reading and writing, as well as in listening and speaking.
• Qualified candidates should be able to communicate with native English speakers without any problem.

Education
• Qualified candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.

Working experience
• A qualified candidate should have at least five years working experiences in the related areas, preferably in a well-known software company. Working experiences in a well-known international company, specifically a northern American company, will be a big plus.
