Responsibilities:

Member of Core Engine (CE) team that designs, develops, integrates and tests infrastructure technology. The team is responsible for an internal project that provides a modular development environment to enable all products leveraging the micro Services Architecture (mSA). CE is a fast-moving, dynamic project requiring frequent and short release cycles. The CE infrastructure uses OSGi technology for the mSA backplane. Ongoing development and test work includes development and enhancement of tools and utilities, integration of common components from various producer teams, integration of open source components, and testing the package with different products on various platforms. Quality assurance responsibilities include:

§ Review functional and technical specifications for features

§ Design functional test specifications and test plans

§ Apply your Java programming skills to develop test programs for CE

§ Implement test programs, report bugs and provide suggestion for bug fixing

§ Work closely with producers of components to integrate into CE

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: MS/BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent

Qualifications:

§ Strong verbal and written English skills

§ 3-5 years of commercial software experience

§ Skilled in Java programming

§ Familiar with J2EE, Java based web application server development

§ Experience with UNIX (one of Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX) or Windows

Preferred Qualifications:

§ OSGi, Tomcat, Spring, XML and SOAP

§ Ant and JUnit programming

§ UNIX Shell scripting

§ Network Programming

§ Experience with system test
